My name is Saher Rafiq. I am an energetic and lively wife, mother, and grandmother to five grandchildren. I originally immigrated from Pakistan over 40 years ago and have lived in South Florida since then. As an immigrant, it was a challenging journey. However, I knew America was a land of opportunity, and I made it.
By profession, I am a teacher and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and marketing. I moved to Silver Lakes, Florida, in Broward County 20 years ago and was ready to change my profession. While living here, I have seen and experienced the development of many communities in South Florida. Some include Doral, Pinecrest, Cooper City, Pembroke Pines, and Miami Lakes. That, and my interests in marketing and psychology, encouraged me to enter the real estate business. After earning my license, my first client was my friend. They were first-time homebuyers who were apprehensive about buying a home. With my guidance, I eased their fears and satisfied all their expectations.
Florida is a melting pot with a diverse population. I enjoy meeting and building relationships with people of various backgrounds. My insight into human psychology helps elevate my communications and interactions with a diverse range of buyers. Eventually, I learned I loved developing relationships with my clients and helping them find their dream homes.
Outside of real estate, I am a member of several women’s associations, where I serve in any way I can. I also love to travel, read books, try different cuisines, and learn other languages.
